Big Sky Drive-In

Red LeGros in his officeDonald "Red" LeGros started with his passion for theaters in Arcadia, Wisconsin in 1971. There he owned an indoor theater named Vogue Theater on Main Street. Moving to Wisconsin Dells in the early 1980s, he acquired the Chalet Theater downtown where the clock tower is currently located. He purchased the Dells Drive-In, formerly Winnebago Drive-In, and later changed the name to Big Sky. In 1997, he added a second screen to the opposite side of the field from the original one so visitors could have a choice between 2 sets of double features of first-run films.
